If you’re experiencing a crisis:

If you’re in a hard place, please know this: your pain is real, and you shouldn’t have to carry it alone.

Crisis support can be complicated, especially for those whose communities have been harmed or dismissed by the very systems meant to protect. The resources below are here to offer options, not pressure or control. You deserve care that meets you where you are.

Whatever path you take, your safety and your life matter. Take what feels supportive. Leave what doesn’t.

You are worth the reaching out.

This list is for informational purposes and is not a substitute for clinical or emergency care.

    • Call 911 – For situations involving serious risk of harm to yourself or others.

      • If you're able, you may request a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) officer trained in mental health response.

    • Go to your nearest emergency room

  • Sometimes care looks like calling a crisis line. Other times, it may mean reaching out to someone you trust, taking space to regulate, or connecting with a familiar place that helps you feel grounded.

If you're not sure where to turn right away, consider:

    • Talking to a supportive friend, chosen family member, or trusted community leader

    • Returning to a space that brings you calm (e.g., a backyard, a car, the ocean, somewhere quiet)

    • Asking for what you need in small ways (e.g., a check-in, a walk, a meal, a safe presence)

This is not a substitute for clinical advice or emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent mental health care, please contact a crisis resource listed below.

Notes On Mandated Reporting

As a therapist, I’m legally required to report certain safety concerns, including immediate danger to self or others, or abuse involving children, elders, or dependent adults. I’m not available outside of sessions for emergency support. If you're a current client, you can message me through the portal, and I’ll respond within 1-3 business days.

I also want to acknowledge that my role as a mandated reporter can carry its own weight—especially for those who’ve experienced surveillance, criminalization, or systemic harm. My intention is always to move with care, not fear, and to stay in relationship wherever possible, even when repair is needed.
